Water Apple (Syzygium aqueum) is a native lillipilly from Northern Queensland.  It is a medium to large shrub, and produces masses of decorative and delicious red 'bell shaped' fruit.  The fruit have a crisp, crunchy apple texture, flavour and are mostly seedless.
 
These are harvested from the garden during the festive season when the trees produce these 'Christmas bells' fruit.
