Davidson Plums are native Rainforest fruit deep purple in colour and the flesh inside a deep, dark burgendy. This powder is so fluffy and full of flavour, a little goes a long way! Average serving size 2g and its a very concentrated ingredient so even just adding a little to any recipe or as a complemetary ingredient.
This powder is naturally rich in Vitamin C, antioxidents, Magnesium, lutein and is a quality native Australian ingredient. Just a sprinkle can be added to savory or sweet dishes such as your morning granola, porridge, chia to a spicy marinade sweet chilli with garlic sauce with an added plum powder. This powder is so unique that it is sour yet sweet so delicous with a little sprinkle over chocolate cake, added to brownies or simply sprinkled over icecream, and the freeze drying process captures all the nutritional goodness so this is the perfect powder to complement a Vegan diet with many benefits of overall good health.
All our fruit is harvested from our family farm in the Northern Rivers of NSW from orchards that were established over 20 years ago. Since the original plantings we have planted more to increase the growing demand for this native rainforest fruit. We harvest year round with collections from all varieties of Davidson Plums (Davidsonia pruriens (from Northern QLD), Davidsonia jerseyana and Davidsonia johnsonii (Northern NSW).
Our Davidson Plums are picked, washed and pureed, then dehydrated in accordance to current HACCP Management Operational Procedures.
